Gallo Record Company is proud to welcome Season 12 Idols South Africa winner, Noma Khumalo, in to our stable.
Noma was crowned the winner of Idols on Sunday evening during the live show at Carnival City, after a gruelling competition and a record breaking season with over 83 million votes cast.
Some of South Africa’s very top artists took to the stage to wow the crowds such as AKA, Kelly Khumalo, Nathi, and last year’s Idols winner, Karabo Mogane performed to a sold out crowd.
Idols SA’s judge Unathi performed alongside Kwaito legend Zola and judge Somizi also performed an opera number with Wooden Mic winner of the season, Mbhishoph Shezi – to thunderous cheers and applause.
22–year-old Noma is the first female winner in seven seasons – and we are very proud of her.
“We look forward to working with Noma, and are going straight in to studio to record her first album” says Label Services Manager for The Gallo Group, Rob Cowling.
Stay tuned for more information on Noma and her soon to be released album.
