Kentish Town musical siblings Kitty, Daisy & Lewis celebrate the festive season by sharing the new video for ‘Just One Kiss’. Taken from the band’s recent album Superscope, the video sees the trio playing live at their home studio festooned with all the festive trimmings whilst lending itself to memories past.
Written by and featuring Kitty on vocals this is a stripped back of the album track but remains true to the original idea of a big but simple production as she says “I imagined it just me singing with guitar.” On hearing the song her brother Lewis suggested adding piano and strings and whilst that can be heard on Superscope this version is akin to the origins of the track as it was first conceived by Kitty.
“The song’s about how a magic kiss can change your life. Kitty wrote it one night sitting in front of the fire playing guitar -perfect for all the lovers out there at Christmas time!”
Filmed, edited and recorded by the band themselves, it was shot at their North London studio which was also where they recorded and wrote Superscope.
Following various shows in the US and Europe Kitty, Daisy & Lewis decamp to the southern hemisphere with a run of shows in early 2018.
